背棘 (總數) : 9; 背的軟條 (總數) : 15 - 16; 臀棘: 3; 臀鰭軟條: 9 - 10; 脊椎骨: 25. Head and body deep bluish-green to steep-blue with irregular faint dark grey spots dorsally, silvery white below. Pectorals grey, other fins translucent to grey. Juveniles with dark margin on anal fin. Length of upper lobe of caudal fin > 30% SL (Ref. 9701).
頭部與身體深的藍綠色的到陡峭的-藍色有不規則的模糊深灰色的斑點背面, 下面銀白色的。 胸鰭灰色又其他的鰭半透明的到灰色的。 在臀鰭上稚魚有深色邊。 尾鰭上葉的長度 >30% SL.(參考文獻 9701)
