胸鳍内面的下半部有分散的很多灰白的斑点;(蓝色的活着时, 白色或灰白的在保存的标本中) 黑色的斑块偶然地在胸鳍的低内侧上出现。
Found in the tropical to warm temperate areas (Ref. 9771), in sandy or sandy mud bottom (Ref. 11230).
