简单描述 检索表 | 型态特徵 | 形态测量图

背的软条 (总数) : 7; 臀棘: 1; 臀鳍软条: 5. Distinguished from all congeners by its small size with sexual dimorphism expressed around 25 mm SL (vs around 30 mm SL in congeneric species), by the distinct banded color pattern of the caudal fin (vs blotched or indistinct banded pattern in congeneric species), and by its specific barcode sequences (JF292274, JF292275, JF292276). This species does not exhibit unique morphometric tendencies distinguishing it from all other congeneric species. Differs from other congeners except Harttiella intermedia by a caudal peduncle: shorter compared to the species belonging to the longicauda group [mean = 40.36 ± 1.06% of SL vs 43.61 ± 1.79 < mean < 44 .26 ± 1.48% of SL; (HSD, p-values < 0.0002)], and longer compared to the other species of the crassicauda group [mean = 40.36 ± 1.06% of SL vs 36.14 ± 1.66 < mean < 38 .32 ± 1.54% of SL; (HSD, p-values < 0.0281)]. Can be diagnosed from Harttiella intermedia by a smaller body depth at dorsal-fin origin [mean = 10.34 ± 0.83% of SL vs 12.69 ± 0.54; (HSD, p-value = 0.0041)] (Ref. 90209).
