A demersal species most commonly found on continental slope. Biology poorly known (Ref. 114953). No observed adolescent males, but with undeveloped claspers at 46.8 cm TL; adult males from 54.5- 62.2 cm TL, and smallest confirmed juvenile 18.3 cm TL (Ref. 75648).
