Mjukstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt) : 79 - 81; Mjukstrålar i analfenan: 56 - 58; Ryggkotor: 39 - 40. Diagnosis: Pointed snout; distinct large eyes, 2.2-2.5% SL; head with scale-band on cheek; posterior infraorbital pores 3; posterior nostril large, about half of eye diameter; rays in dorsal fin 79-81, anal 56-58, caudal 16; otolith with length to height ratio 2.5 and partly fused colliculi.
