A small sized, shallow and narrow-bodies barb (Ref. 47354). Head depth and body depth are about equal (Ref. 47354). The eyes are large, its diameter 34% of head length, with a small interorbital width (Ref. 47354). The lower jaw is rather long, 43.3% of head length, has a high inclination and makes a pronounced angle with the ventral head profile (Ref. 47354). The pharyngeal tooth formula is 5-3-2:2-3-5 (Ref. 47354). The barbels are short, the anterior barbel length 4.7% of head length (Ref. 47354). Scales: 10-12 predorsal scales (Ref. 47354). Estimates based on models

Fylogenetische diversiteitsindex (Ref. 82804):  PD50 = 0.5000   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.00525 (0.00226 - 0.01220), b=3.11 (2.90 - 3.32), in cm total length, based on LWR estimates for this (Sub)family-body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trofisch niveau (Ref. 69278):  3.0   ±0.3 se; based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Weerstandsvermogen (Ref. 120179):  Hoog, minimale populatieverdubbelingstijd minder dan 15 maanden (Preliminary K or Fecundity.).
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (10 of 100).
