Épines dorsales (Total) : 3; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total) : 7; Épines anales: 2 - 3; Rayons mous anaux: 5. High and compressed body, with four Gambetta's pigmentary zones. Jet black caudal spot rounded and rather small. Mental lobes well prominent but not large (Ref. 41095).
Body shape (shape guide): elongated.
Oviparous, possibly with distinct pairing during breeding similar to congeners (Ref. 205).
