Maturity: Lm ?  range ? - ? cm
Max length : 39.0 cm TL mâle / non sexé; (Ref. 114953)
A demersal species with unknown depth distribution but presumably inhabits outer continental shelf and/or upper slope (Ref. 114953). Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell (Ref. 205). Length of specimen (39 cm TL) was based on a young male observed to have developed state of thorn patches on pectoral fins, and presumambly approaching maturity (Ref. 114953).
Life cycle and mating behavior

Estimates based on models
Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref.
82804): PD
50 = 0.5000 [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.00282 (0.00133 - 0.00596), b=3.25 (3.08 - 3.42), in cm total length, based on LWR estimates for this Genus-body shape (Ref.

Niveau trophique (Ref.
69278): 3.7 ±0.6 se; based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Résilience (Ref.
120179): Faible, temps minimum de doublement de population : 4,5 à 14 années (Assuming fecundity<100).
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref.
