خارهاي باله پشتي (کل) : 0; خارهاي باله مخرجي: 0. Bold saddle markings on body and precaudal tail, but without dark markings on the terminal and hypural caudal-fin lobes (Ref. 11146).

A rare, little-known bottom-dwelling catshark found on the uppermost continental slopes (Ref. 11146). Mode of reproduction unknown (Ref. 11146).
