الأشواك الظهرية (المجموع) : 0; الأشعة الظهرية الناعمة (المجموع) : 5 - 6; شوكة شرجية: 0; أشعه شرجية لينه: 5 - 6. Caudal fin rounded (Ref. 9002). Yellow to orange, densely covered with dark to bright red spots, usually very red in deep water (Ref. 9002).
Usually found among sponges and ascidians (Ref. 9002). Cleans other fishes, probably feeding on small parasites (Ref. 9002).
