背棘 (總數) : 4 - 6; 背的軟條 (總數) : 33 - 36; 臀鰭軟條: 30 - 34. Uniformly brownish but with darker markings or uniformly black. Prominent acoustico-lateralis channel on the head, absence of connecting orbital branches of the ethmoid, short frontal and narrow parasphenoid (Ref. 11892).
