الأشواك الظهرية (المجموع) : 4 - 6; الأشعة الظهرية الناعمة (المجموع) : 33 - 36; أشعه شرجية لينه: 30 - 34. Uniformly brownish but with darker markings or uniformly black. Prominent acoustico-lateralis channel on the head, absence of connecting orbital branches of the ethmoid, short frontal and narrow parasphenoid (Ref. 11892).

Spawn once a year (Ref. 1071).
