Taggstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt) : 9; Mjukstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt) : 11 - 14; Taggstrålar i analfenan: 3; Mjukstrålar i analfenan: 10 - 12; Ryggkotor: 24. Six to seven pectoral filaments below pectoral fin, the fifth filament from the ventralmost, longest, may extend beyond caudal fin. Body and head yellow, shaded with black dorsally; fins bright orange, pectoral filaments intense vermilion (Ref. 9685).
