背棘 (總數) : 26 - 36; 背的軟條 (總數) : 0. Same body coloration as P. africanus but lateral line lighter and less distinct (Ref. 6584). Maxilla fails to extend back to the posterior of nostril. Small mouth, short preoral snout. Light tan with black tips (Ref. 37108).
Body shape (shape guide): eel-like.
與 P. africanus 體色相同但是側線顏色淡的與比較少量明顯的.(參考文獻 6584) 顎骨無法向後延伸到鼻孔的後面的。 小的嘴, 短的口前吻。 淡的黃褐色的有黑色的頂端.(參考文獻 37108)
