Occurs in swampy parts of brooks and small streams in the rainforest, mainly on volcanic soil (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
出現於在雨林中的小溪沼澤部份與小的溪流, 主要吃火山的土壤.(參考文獻 3788) 不是一個季節性的鱂科魚類。 在水族館是難以維持。 (參考文獻 27139)
