Eastern Atlantic: several records between 14°11'N (off Senegal) and 50°08'N. Elsewhere, eastern Pacific, from the equator to 38°24'N. Probably occurring in the Western Central Pacific (Ref. 38717). Reported from the Indian Ocean (Ref. 43180).
