Rückenflossenstacheln (insgesamt) : 0; Rückenflossenweichstrahlen (insgesamt) : 28 - 33; Afterflossenstacheln: 0; Afterflossenweichstrahlen: 23 - 29. Preserved specimen (around 3.5 cm) pale yellow to light brown in color (Ref. 6619).

Rare species. The largest specimen was collected from a depth between 700 and 1,400 m; smaller specimens between 0-200 m (Ref. 6619). Stomach contents consisted of copepods (Ref. 6714).
