Espinas dorsales (total) : 12 - 13; Radios blandos dorsales (total) : 21 - 22; Espinas anales: 2; Radios blandos anales: 22 - 23; Vértebra: 34. This species is distinguished by the following characters: total vertebrae 34, midline of body with a dark black band; 8-9 lateral processes along entire lateral side of main body of swimbladder, 2 posterior extensions of the swimbladder (Ref. 93385).
