Espinas dorsales (total) : 0; Radios blandos dorsales (total) : 12 - 16; Espinas anales: 0; Radios blandos anales: 17 - 19. Body elongate and moderately slender. Short, blunt and non-protrusible snout. Short chin barbel with short terminal expanded section. Black in color. Barbel is black, tip of barbel unpigmented (Ref. 37039).
