Taggstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt) : 6 - 7; Mjukstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt) : 28 - 30; Mjukstrålar i analfenan: 28 - 31. Body marbled and with three or four short, broad, dark bars on upper parts of sides. Dorsally rays sometimes with a series of small spots, caudal fin faintly barred (Ref. 11892).
Found in fairly shallow water (Ref. 11892).
