Apparently benthic on soft bottoms near coast (Ref. 114953); inshore coastal habitats near mangroves, close to heavily human populated areas, thus making it accessible to fishers. Males mature at 17-18 cm WD while females at 18 cm WD. Size at birth 5-9 cm WD (Ref. 130662). Caught by trammel nets (Ref. 114953).
