Chiavi di identificazione | Morfologia | Morfometria
Spine dorsali (totale) : 0; Raggi dorsali molli (totale) : 24; Spine anali: 0; Raggi anali molli: 31; Vertebre: 43. Diagnosis: Cryptomyrus ogoouensis is readily differentiated from its sole congener, C. ona, by the following characteristics: the possession of an anal-fin origin located well in advance of the dorsal fin, first dorsal ray above anal-fin ray 7 vs. first dorsal ray above anal-fin ray 3; a narrow caudal peduncle, its depth 5.1% of standard length vs. 6.0-6.8%; and lobes of caudal fin nearly as long as caudal peduncle, vs. markedly shorter (Ref. 113668).
