Known from one locality only (an exposed, shallow and sandy beach) (Ref. 4983). The specimens which were examined contained moderately large quantities of bottom debris (sand grains, diatom frustules, and fragments of plant tissue) together with fragmentary insect larvae (? Diptera) (Ref. 558).
