членистые (мягкие) лучи спинного плавника (общее число) : 2; членистые (мягкие) лучи анального плавника: 44 - 45; позвонки: 46 - 48. This species is distinguished from congeners in having the following set of characters: depth at anus 9.1-11.0% SL; caudal peduncle depth 4.7-5.5% SL; eye diameter 6.7-9.8% HL; pelvic fins present; anal-fin rays 44-45; principal rays on the lower caudal-fin lobe 3-4, lower lobe of caudal fin indistinct; vertebrae 46-48; one gill raker on the first branchial arch; body uniformly brown.
