Rayons mous dorsaux (Total) : 11; Rayons mous anaux: 20 - 21; Vertèbres: 32 - 33. Can be diagnosed by having the following characters: nine teeth in the dentary; five scales with pores on the lateral; 25-26 scales on lateral line, 3 scales between the lateral line and pelvic fins, 2 scales between the lateral line and the anal fin; and a dark lateral line that fuses with a conspicuous peduncular spot (Ref. 85795).
