Characterized by greenish grey body color with numerous blackish spots; midlateral row of five elongated dark spots, last on base of caudal fin followed by blackish median streak onto fin; united pelvic fins, well developed frenum present; longitudinal scale series 78-80; head, nape and pectoral fin base without scales; cycloid scales covering body; greatest depth of body 6.7-7.3 in SL; lanceolate caudal fin, longer than head length; absence of posterior oculoscapular sensory canal (Ref. 90102).
Collected from silty sand habitat (Ref. 75862).
