Diagnosis: Teeth are strongly trilobed; nasal papilla absent; other pore papillae are reduced, invariably present only on maxillary pore 6; peritoneum pale; orobuccal valve with 1 finger-like projection; orobuccal cavity pale; gill rakers 9-10, short and blunt; interorbital papilla absent; pyloric caeca on left side, short; body peach to red; iris golden (Ref. 57077).
Smallest female with yolked eggs measured 7.76 cm SL; smallest male with enlarged, swollen testes 6.38 cm SL (Ref. 57077).
