Caudal fin subtruncate. Dorsal fin spines 19-20. Anal fin spines 7-8. Scales in longitudinal line 34-37. Gill rakers on lower limb of first gill arch 5-7. Total vertebrae 33 (Ref. 56628).
Inhabits the shallow (2-7 m depth), rocky bottom (Ref. 56628).
