Distinguished from known Bryconamericus species by: the insertion of the first three pterygiophores in front of the anal fin on the first caudal vertebra of the spine; a short ischium process; the dentition of eight small teeth; and the rhinosphenoid is wide in its posterior extreme where it makes contact with the cartilage (Ref. 49955).
