八根第一背鰭棘; 7個胸的絲狀突起, 上面的 2個絲狀突起長度超過 TL; 犛骨有絨毛狀的齒; 眼窩直徑 4% 的 SL; 顎骨的在後部部分少於眼窩直徑。 (參考文獻 49954)
Found on sandy or muddy bottoms of freshwater rivers and estuaries (Ref. 49954). Feeds on small crustaceans, small fishes, and benthic organisms (Ref. 57343). Exported to Japan as an ornamental fish (Ref. 57343). Esteemed food fish in the Chao Phraya and Mekong rivers and at Tonle Sap Lake (Ref. 57343).
