背的軟條 (總數) : 12; 臀鰭軟條: 9; 脊椎骨: 30. Body silvery with small, distinct, dark, saddle-shaped spot anterior to origin of dorsal fin and small dark blotch on caudal peduncle; all fins greyish (Ref. 42106).
