Life cycle and mating behavior Maturità | Riproduzione | Deposizione | Uova | Fecundity | Larve

In captivity, the male predominantly picks up the released egss from the bottom of the tank and stores them in a nest built beneath a projecting corner of a small stone. The nest has a number of small air bubbles and several dozen eggs that together formed a compact mass that adhered to the stone (Ref. 47277).

Estimates based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82804):  PD50 = 0.7500   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.01122 (0.00514 - 0.02450), b=3.04 (2.87 - 3.21), in cm total length, based on all LWR estimates for this body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trophic level (Ref. 69278):  3.0   ±0.4 se; based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Resilienza (Ref. 120179):  Alto, tempo minimo di raddoppiamento della popolazione meno di 15 mesi (Preliminary K or Fecundity.).
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (10 of 100).
