Vertebrae: 50 - 52. Posterior edge of operculum lacking in concavity. Spot of bright tissue occupies almost the entire surface of the operculum. Photophores in the following series: PV 14-16 (usually 15); VAV 18-20 (usually 19); OV 14-15; VAL 19-21 (usually 20-21); OA 34-36; OC 46-48; IA 42-45; IC 52-58 (Ref. 41433).
