Roundish swim bladder. Radial pattern absent on operculum. Gill rakers on the inner surface of epibranchial absent on the first gill arch. Pectorals extending far beyond the origin of the dorsal fin. Base of dorsal fin longer than anal fin base (Ref. 33679).
