Spine dorsali (totale) : 5; Raggi dorsali molli (totale) : 29; Spine anali: 2; Raggi anali molli: 27; Vertebre: 21. Protuberance or horn on forehead or snout absent. Convex head with slight angularity before eye. Anterior interorbital space and adjacent internarial space strongly elevated with a rounded median ridge. Body depth 3.1-3.2 in SL. Two keeled peduncular plates on each side, keels not large nor antrorse. Dorsal fin not elevated, first dorsal spine longest, 2.8 in HL. Emarginate caudal fin.
