描述: (以 18件標本為依據): 成魚的高度: 9.0-19.2 公分。 環: 11+36.(35-37) 吻的長度: 2.4(2.1-2.6) 分之一頭長。 背鰭鰭條: 17-18 覆蓋 2+1個環。 胸鰭鰭條: 16-17. 冠: 相當低的, 圓形的而且在背部懸於之上, 平坦的-頂端了或者具有一個輕微的凹窪。 棘: 只有的低又圓形的腫塊。 其他的顯著特性: 體環相當矮矮胖胖; 寬的或幾乎雙眼與頰的棘。
彩色斑紋: 可能是覆蓋著極小的白色點或比較大的褐色斑點。
Length type refers to height (= TL - head length). Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205).
