Espinas dorsales (total) : 4; Radios blandos dorsales (total) : 8; Espinas anales: 3; Radios blandos anales: 5. Preserved color nearly light brown all over, dusky above; operculum with a blackish irregular spot; lips and lower jaw black; pale fins. 11-15 scales between nape and dorsal; 2.5 scales from ventrals to lateral line. Scales with concentric striae, those on dorsal half also with longitudinal striae.
