背棘 (总数) : 4; 背的软条 (总数) : 8; 臀棘: 3; 臀鳍软条: 5. Fresh specimen color dark green dorsally, whitish on sides, and overcast with brassy or golden, especially on belly; top of head and snout blackish with pearly epidermal spots also on suborbital and opercle; fins pale or with roseate flush. 11 scales from nape to dorsal; 2.5 scale rows between ventrals and lateral line. Wide short snout without prominent protuberances.
新鲜的标本色彩深绿色的背面, 微白色的在侧边上, 与阴天的有黄铜色的或金的, 尤其在腹面上; 头顶与吻黑色的在眶下骨与鳃盖上也有浅蓝灰色表皮性的斑点; 鳍灰白的或与玫瑰色的流溢。 11个鳞片从后颈到背部的; 2.5 在腹面与侧线之间的鳞片列。 没有突出的突起的宽的短吻。
