Usually found among algae in depths of 20-34 m, but sometimes among floating Sargassum. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). Males may be mature at 12.5 cm SL.
在深度中通常發現於藻類中 20-34 公尺, 但是有時在漂浮的 馬尾藻 之中. 卵胎生的.(參考文獻 205) 雄魚帶卵在一個孵卵袋是在尾部下面發現.(參考文獻 205) 雄性可能是在 12.5 公分 SL 時成熟。
