The type material was collected amongst the coral Galaxea clavus. Males may be mature at 4.35 cm SL. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.
