Spine dorsali (totale) : 8 - 10; Raggi dorsali molli (totale) : 14 - 17; Spine anali: 0; Raggi anali molli: 13 - 15. Head depressed, with bony spines and ridges dorsally (Ref. 559). Rounded bony plates bearing serrated margin present on dorsolateral surface of body (Ref. 559).
