Ecologia
marinhas batipelágico; oceanódromo (Ref. 51243); intervalo de profundidade 90 - 1600 m (Ref. 58426), usually 250 - 850 m (Ref. 82363). Boreal; 70°N - 40°N, 65°W - 12°E
Arctic to Atlantic Ocean: south of about 70°N to 47°N in the eastern sector and to about 40°N in the western sector.

High-oceanic species. Found at 250-850 m during the day; at 90-325 m at night (Ref. 4775). Epipelagic to bathypelagic. Feeds on crustaceans (Ref. 58426). Sexually mature when 3cm long (Ref. 35388).
