Africa: Liberia and Côte d'Ivoire. Previously, 5 subspecies were recognized: E. olbrechtsi azureus, E. olbrechtsi dauresi, E. olbrechtsi kassiapleuensis, E. olbrechtsi olbrechtsi, E. olbrechtsi puetzi (Ref. 57261). Reported from Guinea (Ref. 27139).
