Épines dorsales (Total) : 0; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total) : 51 - 61; Épines anales: 0; Rayons mous anaux: 49 - 58. First ray of the first dorsal fin and pelvic fin rays extremely elongated. Scales more than 75 in longitudinal series. Pectoral fin rays fewer than 18. Attains 5 cm SL.
