Short description
Claves de identificación | Morfología | Morfometría
Vértebra: 32. Distinguished very readily from all its congeners by having much smaller scales (61-68 versus only 30-54 scales in lateral series) and body without any longitudinal stripes whatever. A small but well defined, round, black humeral spot (often ocellated, i.e. surrounded by a pale or clear ring) and a similar midpeduncular spot. Vertebrae fewer than observed in other species of Labiobarbus, 32 (Ref. 7424).
Stomach contents include detritus and insect larvae (Ref. 56749).
