биология     глоссарий (например epibenthic)

Adults inhabit larger streams rather than small tributaries, forming schools in rock pools and over sand bottoms (Ref. 2906, 5259, 44894). They retreat to crevices when threatened (Ref. 44894). Feed on filamentous algae by grazing on rocks. (Ref. 2906, 5259, 44894). Sometimes form mixed shoals with S. trigonicus. Breed during the late dry or early wet season (October to December) (Ref. 44894). Eggs are guarded and fanned by the male parent (Ref. 205). Aquarium conditions: pH=7.5, H=12, 26°C, egg layer, peaceful community fish, plant and rock cover (Ref. 6398).

Estimates based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82804):  PD50 = 0.5005   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.01778 (0.00705 - 0.04485), b=2.83 (2.61 - 3.05), in cm total length, based on LWR estimates for this (Sub)family-body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trophic level (Ref. 69278):  2.0   ±0.00 se; based on food items.
устойчивость к внешним воздействиям (Ref. 120179):  высокий, минимальное время удвоения популяции до 15 месяцев (Preliminary K or Fecundity.).
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (10 of 100).
