Indo-West Pacific: Somalia (Ref. 30573), Mozambique (Ref. 5213) and Madagascar to Natal, South Africa; also from Gulf of Aden to Sri Lanka, including the Red Sea. Also recorded from Indonesia (Ref. 5978).
