Size / Weight / Age
Maturity: Lm ?  range ? - ? cm
Max length : 4.6 cm SL male/unsexed; (Ref. 38376)
Dorsal soft rays (total): 10; Anal soft rays: 14 - 20. The possession of a dark, vertically elongate humeral bar in mid-sized and larger specimens or the presence of a diffuse patch of chromatophores in that region in the smaller individuals examined distinguishes Attonitus irisae from Attonitus bounites and Attonitus ephimeros. Dorsal fin with 2 unbranched and 8 branched ray. Anal fin with 3 unbranched and 14-17, most commonly 15-16, branched rays (Ref 53400).
