Dorsal spines (total): 3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 21; Anal spines: 1; Anal soft rays: 13; Vertebrae: 28. This species is distinguished by having the following characters: with LL pattern type 1; the lower limb margin of preopercle without spines; all cheek scales abutting adjacent scales; D III, 21; premaxillary stripe consists of several, irregular, dark blotches; lanceolate caudal fin (Ref. 119093).
