Of the three localities sampled, specimens were collected in medium to large schools (ca. 50 and 130 specimens). Also, both the other sympatric species of the Enteromius lineomaculatus species complex (E. lineomaculatus or E. quadrilineatus, are absent from the upper stretch of this affluent (Ref. 132400).
